Iconic Australia is the inspiration for Jen Kingwell Designs’ brand new Colour Builders Thread Collection. This collection was created as an expansion to the immensely popular and successful Aurifil Color Builders Thread Collections. Colour Builders are capsules of twelve thread sets, each set containing three coordinating spools based on colourways inspired by Italy (50wt), Endangered Species (40wt) and Flora (50wt). In the Iconic Australia Thread Collection, we are taking our own adventure through two iconic Australian destinations – The Great Barrier Reef (50wt) and the Outback (40wt).

50wt Large Collection

Our 50wt Colour Builders Thread Collection centres around the dusty colours of the Australian Outback. Be inspired by the striking colours of Australia’s impressive landscape and the life within. The colours in this collection extend from strong Uluru-inspired reds through to Eucalyptus greens and subtle koala greys.

The Outback 50wt collections is available in large (1300m) spools. Because of its slightly thicker weight, 50wt perfect for sewing garments, bags, toys or more defined quilting and are excellent value.
