I’m thrilled to announce our ‘From The Vault’ Template of the Month program is Delilah.
Delilah was the very first Template of The Month program ever - To my knowledge, no one had attempted this before. This was back in 2017 and I wasn’t sure if my customers, and the quilting community in general would be interested in this new format of a traditional BOM program…

I need not have worried. It was embraced with such enthusiasm that Template of the Month programs are now a staple of my creative world. We are offering Delilah in two colourways – One is as the original design. You may giggle, but I like to call this a limited palette. Purple, orange, chartreuse and pink were the colours I worked with. I was happy for the pinks to lean towards red, or for the chartreuse to wander into lime or yellow. That flexibility allowed the palette to grow while keeping it as tight as I am capable of.


I paired this lively mix of colour with black and white backgrounds, and I still love this combination almost 10 years on. The second colour palette is one that is softer but still packs a creative punch. Put together by our team member Nat from her stash this palette is soft and feminine with a punch  of black and white that keeps it grounded and stylish. Nat brought this quilt in to choose a thread colour to match for quilting and it cemented my decision that Delilah was the next ‘From The Archive’ Template of the Month program.

Program details

  • AU$53 per monthly mail out, plus shipping.
  • Each Month You’ll Receive:
    • A mail out of carefully selected fabrics and templates. The pattern booklet arrives with month 1.
    • An email with instructions showing which blocks to make for the month.
    • Enough fabric to complete your blocks, with most months including a little extra for creativity and future additions.

Please note by joining this program you are agreeing to the following: 

  • This is a full 12-month program; cancellations are not accepted.
  • These quilts were made from Nat and Jen's stash. As a result, this program will feature different fabrics to the original quilts. Fabric selection is at the discretion of JenKingwell.com, however we always put something beautiful together to emulate the look and feel of original creations.
  • Month 1 payment is processed at sign up to secure your place. Monthly payments for months 2–12 are debited in the first week of each month. 
  • Orders are packed and dispatched within standard timeframes.
