Discover the endless creative possibilities of combining embroidery stitches with renowned textile artist, author, and embroidery tutor Jennifer Clouston.

Over this two-day workshop, Jennifer will share her signature approach to reimagining traditional embroidery stitches in fresh, contemporary ways. Suitable for embroiderers of all skill levels, the workshop encourages participants to move beyond set patterns and predetermined colour palettes, experimenting with stitch combinations to explore how texture, movement, and rhythm emerge through layering and playful discovery.

As you stitch, you'll develop your own contemporary sampler, a collection of techniques, ideas, and creative experiments to inspire and inform your future embroidery projects.

About the Event

·       This event is held in-person in-store located at 87 Beach Road, Torquay 3228.

·       Morning/afternoon tea, Coffee, and teas will be provided. BYO lunch.

·       Supplies are available for purchase in store during class if not purchased ahead of time

Cancellation Policy for Classes and Events

All classes and events at amitié Textiles are non-refundable. We book teachers to travel & teach their skills/crafts months in advance. They often spend weeks preparing for a workshop and cancellations cannot be accommodated.

If you are unable to attend, you may:

• Transfer your booking to a friend or family member. Email us the details of the new attendee at classes@jenkingwell.com from the email address used to make the booking.
• Request amitié Textiles to find a replacement for your place. This request must be made at least 60 days before the class. If we successfully fill your place, a 20% administration fee will be deducted from your refund. If we cannot fill your place, no refund will be issued.

If amitié Textiles cancels a class, all fees paid will be refunded.
